MRT Infomation (Project 1)

This app are use for checking MRT arrive time, information of MRT, and calculate the time and fare for take the MRT.

Why this app created?

This is because it is more convenient for workers or those who need to take the train. They can use this app to know the time of the next train to come. They can also calculate the fare and the time spent. Then they can determine the time they want to start for taking the train by calculating the time.

Home Page

This is the Home Page. When users open the app, users will see this home screen. The Home Page can select the MRT Line that users want to searching for.

Select MRT Line

This page will show when users select the MRT Line they want. Each MRT Line will show the MRT stations that have on the MRT Line they selected. Users can select the MRT stations.

Selected MRT Station

This page will show that to which location. Users can click the location that they want to go to check more information about it.

Information Page

When users click on the book, it will show the information about the MRT station and show some features picture about the place.

Time Arrive and Information

This page show the time arrive and information about the MRT Station.

Calculate Time And Fee Page

When users click on the Time & Fee on the bottom navigation bar this page will come out. This page show the result of time, fees, and stops when reach from the selected MRT station to the selected MRT station.

Select MRT station

When users click on the dropdown list. It will show the list of MRT stations. User can select the origin and destination.

Calculate The Result

When users selected origin and destination, users can click on the calculate button. The result will show the arrive time from origin to destination, the fee of adults, children/students, senior citizens and disabled persons, and workfare concession. The result will also show how many stops from origin to destination.

View MRT Map

When users click on the MRT map on the bottom navigation bar. This page will come out. This page show the MRT Map to users.

SWOT Analysis Of My App:

STRENGTHS:

1) It provide the arrival time of the train to the users, allow users to be more convinience.

2) It allow users to calculate the time to arrive and fees from start to destination.

3) It allows users to see the MRT map when they are confused about the MRT line.

4) It allow users to see the information abot each MRT stations.

5) Simple design allow users easy to understand.

WEAKNESS:

1) It not show the image or line when calculate the time arrive and fee.

2) It not allow users to select the fastest and least transfers.

OPPORTUNITIES:

1) Adding a AI helper to help and answer questions of the users.

2) Adding some ads to earn some money.

THREATS:

1) Users must use their data to see the arrival time of train.

2) When train at another location break down, it cannot inform to users.

Singapore MRT

STRENGTHS:

Singapore MRT App can veiw the MRT map. It can calculate the route with the result of minutes, stations and which line. It will show the line from start location to destination which will also show the which MRT should change the line.

WEAKNESS:

Singapore MRT APP cannot calculate the fare and also the information about all the MRT stations.
